With that cover art and the name Nightmarecatcher, I had high expectations when I pressed play. Not disappointed in the slightest. A one-of-a-kind experience of appropriately nightmarish trippy metal, with a lot of depth.

Since hearing Nightmarecatcher, going back and listening to the rest of Ævangelist's discography has always been in the back of my mind. Well, this and Skrying Mirror's 'Omnimalevolence' finally got me started at least. Matron Thorn is one of the more unique and talented metal musicians out there and I'm looking forward to delving even further into his works.
